Bruce Johnson, Principal
Design is an organic process for Bruce, one of creative exploration with the client. He enjoys incorporating clients’ ideas, life experiences and favourite possessions into the mix. With a background in fine arts and luxury retail, Bruce brings a strong sense of colour and composition to every project.
Bruce joined Johnson & Associates as a partner in 1999. He has a diploma in Architectural Technologies from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and more than ten years of interior design experience.
Dione believes that design that functions well will inherently be timeless. In her work, she designs to bring out the client's personality and passions, while adding elements of surprise. Driven by the process and evolution of design, she loves to take a client's obscure idea and make it a reality.
Dione received a Bachelor of Applied Interior Design from Mount Royal College in 2001. She worked with Johnson & Associates from 2000 to 2005, then took six years off to raise her family and run a custom stationery business. She's been back with J&A since 2011.
